The Porsche 911 Turbo was a technological trailblazer in the field of high-performance sports cars. Even when stationary, the enormous rear apron made it clear what elemental force lay beneath the classic body - and was a challenge to the competition. For the 1975 model year, the then still new turbo technology was installed in the slightly modified six-cylinder boxer from Zuffenhausen - and thus ensured explosive driving performance that was among the absolute world leaders in the mid-1970s.
